We called Florida Design Landscape and asked them to give us some options to refresh our four-year old landscaping in the front of our new-build home in Old NE. FDL was responsive and provided us with a design that did more that we had hoped for. Their plants were healthy and the design brought happy color and life to our home’s entrance. FDL was easy to work with and knew exactly what plants and lighting would work to enhance our home. They listened to our ideas and provided input for alternatives that really worked. Finding a landscaper who would not only provide a design, but come back and execute it in a timely manner is difficult to find in this area. We will definitely use Florida Design Landscape in the future!

FDL and crew transformed our backyard from a patch of grass to a Tuscan-like outdoor retreat. FDL worked with us to design and create a space that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. They spent time with us looking at a variety of plant possibilities taking into account our space, color preferences and maintenance requirements. Florida Design Landscape was recommended to us by the design/build company who was renovating our house in Causeway Isles. Our backyard was nothing but sand, a seawall, and a dock. FDL worked with us every step of the way to create a yard that exceeded all of our expectations. Knowing that this was our second home, they designed a low-maintenance yard with plants that were tolerable to direct sun and salt air. Beyond plants, they designed and installed a beautiful paver patio area, walkways, and lanai area. They also installed new gutters and downspouts, with proper drainage throughout. After the installation, FDL helped us arrange yard care and fertilizer services. As we were up North during most of the renovation, FDL and we worked together long-distance without a problem. Florida Design Landscape (FDL) created a wonderful design layout for us and we could not be more pleased. FDL used her extensive knowledge of landscape design and plant horticulture to transform our front and side yards from hard packed dirt and weed infested areas into beautiful landscapes. Problems of heavily shaded live oak tree areas with their many roots, partially shaded areas and then a hot sunny area created challenges for the design. FDL frequently met with us and explained the various steps that would culminate in the landscaped design. Always the professional in all facets of the project, it was a pleasure working with them. Over 130 plants, shrubs and palm trees were part of the design and every one of them is thriving. Excellent results! Our house is located in the Historic Old Northeast of St Petersburg and many people have stopped by and complimented us on the new landscaping.
